Bahia Rica – Conquistador II
Bahia Rica extends its amazing offer with another boat, specially rigged for offshore trips! The Conquistador II is ready for blue oceanic waters off the coast of Costa Rica. Powered by brand new twin 200 HP Mercury Sea Pros engines, you’ll get to where you need to go and you’ll get there smoothly.
The captain limited the capacity to only 4 guests, to make sure there’s more than enough room for everyone to fish in comfort. The boat is also equipped with tuna tubes so there’s live bait capacity as well.
Your main targets are Billfish, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna. The crew prefers trolling but always brings casting equipment in case you come across schools feeding on the surface. Even though the boat is perfect for offshore adventures, it also works very well inshore for chasing Rooster or Seabass. You’ll be comfy under the shade of the bimini top as you scour the waters and coast for signs of fish activity. You can be as active as you like or let the crew do most of the work.
Captain Thomas encourages catch and release policy for all species. You’re welcome to keep some fish, mostly the amount that’s enough for dinner. The crew will provide you with all necessary fishing equipment and bait. If you are a fly fisherman they can cater to that too but you have to bring your own equipment.
All trips come with lunch, snacks and cold beverages such as water, soda, and beer.
Bring your good luck charm and let’s get fishing!
