Captain Taylor is a Destin local and wants to share his expertise for an epic day fishing together. Depending on what you’re going after, you’ll use techniques like trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, and spinning. Expect to target Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Kingfish, Triggerfish, Shark, and many more, according to the season and length of your trip.
Come aboard the spacious Hound Dog, a 40’ Infinity sportfishing vessel equipped with the amenities to make the wife and children happy during the journey. The comfortable cabin has ac to protect you from the heat and a restroom. To make it even more fun, you’ll be able to play your favorite tunes via Bluetooth with the sound system.
Captain Taylor provides all the rods, reels, and tackle you’ll need. Also included are the fishing licenses, live bait (when available), ice, and fuel. You’ll only need to bring your favorite drinks, snacks, and a cooler to put your catch in. Upon returning to the dock, your catch will be fileted and bagged, so you can take it home and grill your fresh fish filets. Yummy!

- Live Bait (We provide dead bait on every charter and fish for our own live bait most mornings. However we offer an option for the customer to buy live bait from the bait boat company when possible. As the live bait company is not always stocked or operating. )
- Lures
- Catch cleaning & filleting (Our deckhand fillets and bags everyone’s catch for transport at the end of our charters. This is part of his tip. We do not add any additional charge for filleting or bagging fish. We also usually have some ice left over that customers are welcome to.)
- First Mate (We carry a mate on all of our trips. He will coach you up on how to use tackle, train you on technique to guarantee you are successful, he will bait your hook, remove your fish, and fillet and bag them for you. 20% tip is customary and appreciated. )
- Fishing License (Fishing licenses are included in the trip cost. Our license covers you anytime you are fishing on our vessel.)
