Bite wasn’t very strong that day. Captain was kind and helpful and we moved around a lot trying to find fish. My nephew caught quite a few and had a blast. Caught snapper, catfish, sting rays, skip jacks. July is not the idea time for fishing and the bite wasn’t very strong so we caught fewer than I expected.

I do a lot of guided fishing trips in Texas and Louisiana and Capt. Doug is the best. I have a autistic son and Doug gave him special attention helping my son outfish everyone else on the boat by limiting out on trout and redfish, it was the most successful day of fishing my son has ever had and and a very proud day for a father of a special needs son. I do recommend Capt. Doug for all skill levels and if you have someone that needs special attention, Capt. Doug is your man.

We went fishing with Doug today March 9 2023. It was very windy and we didn’t get fish right away but Doug kept moving until he found us fish to catch. It was so much fun and we will definitely book with him the next time we come. We got enough for our fish fry we asked for. Thanks Doug

The weather condition were not the best for fishing in the Bay, too much wind.  But Doug was able to get us to some fishing spots where we were able to catch a decent amount of fish.  He is quite knowledgeable of the area.  A friend of mine went out the same day with another captain and in half day he got only one fish, while we had probably as many as 45 put of which at least 15 were good enough to keep.
