Thank you Mike for an awesome time out on the water today. My girlfriend and I came down for vacation to St. Augustine and I really wanted to go fishing but honestly didn’t know if I would be able to due to time. Mike was very quick to respond to questions I had about booking and I told him my girlfriend was interested in going. My girlfriend has never been fishing on the ocean or ever used an open faced reel. Mike was very patient on teaching her how to use one and she caught a lot fish today, more than me to be honest. She had a great time and I was glad she did since I was closer to getting her more into fishing now. Mike took us to some great locations and gave plenty of tips along the way. Mike will be the only one I contact about going fishing in the future when I return to St. Augustine. Thank you again Mike.

Captain Mike was the best guide we have had the opportunity to work with. He was Johnny on the spot with bait. He worked very hard to find the fish. He was personable and friendly. The price was very fair for the work he did and the value received. We will definitely call him again if we are ever in the area. Thank you Mike!

My brother and I fished two half days with Captain Mike. Poor weather and an El Niño made for difficult fishing but Captain Mike kept working spots until we located the fish. At the end of the day we each boated beautiful redfish.

The tackle, boat, and Captain were all first class. I’ve been fishing charters over 40 years now and Captain Mike is as good as they get.  I will definitely be fishing with him again in Saint Augustine.

Mike ranks right up near the top and we would not hesitate to fish with him again; and yes, we are planning another trip with Mike. We fished 2 consecutive days with Mike in early Oct 2023. Conditions were not the best, as witnessed by the phone chatter from other Captains having a hard time locating fish, however, we were able to stay quite busy catching 11 different species over 2 days, including a beautiful, trophy, Redfish. Mike has a, clean, modern, comfortable, Bay Boat which is perfect for fishing the deep and shallow waters of the St. Augustine area. Captain Mike put us on the fish. This was my very first fishing charter and it blew away my expectations.
Captain Mike was very accommodating, making sure that my family was comfortable, including my wife, who is prone to getting seasick. Captain Mike seemed like he really enjoyed helping people catch fish. The captain’s boat was well equipped, clean and comfortable. All you need to pack is sunscreen and a towel to wipe the fish slime off your hands because you will be catching fish. It was truly a fun experience that I would highly recommend and would definitely be doing it again.
