We had a great day fishing! Capt Clay was super helpful and enthusiastic! He put us right on the fish and made it an awesome experience! Definitely will book with Capt Clay again soon!!

We had a wonderful experience with Captain Clay.  His patience and caring was enough to make us want to book another charter with him when we are in Orange Beach.  It was a very memorable experience.  There were four of us, all females and everyone of us over the age of 75.  He was so patient and went out if his way to insure us a great day!

My dad, girlfriend, and I had the pleasure of being on the boat with captian clay. We caught about 35 fish in just a few hours. Clay is a great guide but the part I apreciated the most was that he was super willing to work around the bad weather with us wether it meant changing days or not. I would strongly recomend booking with captian Clay!

We booked late (with a days notice) so I understand that it’s more expensive but we schedule for 1:00 PM.  The guide called me and asked if we could go out in the morning so we planned on going fishing at 7:00 am.  He text me the morning of and asked to push it to 8:00 because he had a trailer issue.  We scheduled our entire morning around plans we made and my wife/daughter were going on dolphin tour while we fished.  We got dropped off at water by my wife at 9:20.  The guide didn’t show until 10:30 and we didn’t get on the water until 11:00.  We went to get bait and he acted like he was surprised that there weren’t many croaker so we didn’t have much bait.  We then drug net for 20 minutes trying to catch bait fish which didn’t happen.  We moved to a spot by some docks and started fishing.  The guide caught one trout on first cast but didn’t help my 9 year old son cast or reel at all.  He had his on rod and I finally had to ask if I could get one too.  We caught zero fish and because we were fishing at 12:00 noon it was miserable hot.  We tapped out after 2:00 hours and we’re dropped off.  If I could get a refund for the experience, I would.  Guide was late, communicated poorly and fished during the middle of the day.  Maybe he had an off day but it was at my expense.
