Captain Miller gave us a first class trip with an excellent boat and equipment, detailed knowledge about the lake, and terrific conversation. I’ve tried to get my daughter into fishing before, but this is the first time she really caught some fish and told me several times on the way home how much fun she had and how much she wanted to go again.  Thank you Gilbert.  We’ll be calling you again soon!

Gilbert hooked my son and I up with a great fishing trip. He had the boat in the water, all the poles rigged and ready to go before we even pulled up and stepped out of the truck. All we had to do was step aboard and go fishing. It was the first time my boy fished from a boat so Gilbert too extra care to make sure he had a blast. And he did. Gilbert has a ton of experience catching fish which allowed me to walk away with more knowledge myself. My son is already asking when we can go back. I’m already planning my next trip out with Gilbert. Thanks again, Gilbert and fish on!

I went fishing for 5 hours with Captain Gilbert Miller on a beautiful late March morning at Joe Pool Lake.  For the first hour we had a warmup, and I caught 10 little foot-long white bass.  Then for the next 4 hours we got down to business and moved around to different parts of the lake, and I fished for largemouth bass.  In those last 4 hours I never got so much as a bite.  Gilbert is a wonderful man and fun to talk to.  But from what I saw, all Texas has is little fish.

Gilbert was great for a novice like myself. He was patient, encouraging, but not overbearing. He taught me a lot and I can’t wait to come back so I can get back on the boat with him.

My 12 yr old son had the time of his life fishing today with Gilbert. I had just as much fun.  Top of line boat and equipment/electronics. Gilbert is beyond a pro/expert and a great person. We look forward to booking many more trips in the future. Gilbert taught us so much about Bass fishing. The highlight of the day was when my son caught the biggest Bass of his life at 5.44 Pounds. Highly Recommended, you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks so much Gilbert !!
