The boat was great.ย Had a bath room and air conditioned cabin, they worked great. We had a great time and caught a lot of fish.ย Would recommend Maritime Mayhem Charter Service to everyone.

We had a great day fishing. Perfect day to be out on the boat. Although we didnโt catch any cobia, we were in good company and enjoyed every minute of it!
Liz, the day was amazing! John and I met great new friends and had a blast. The fish did NOT cooperate. I think they were (are) in the spawn. The water temp was right for it. I wish our trip was a week or two later. Actually, that wouldnโt be good either because we lost an engine yesterday. Oh well, the joy of having a boat! We will get it right and look forward to seeing you guys again for a day of catching! Capt John
Enjoyed our day of fishing. My nephew Shamon caught the most fish. Boat is beautiful.ย Capt John was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Inside boat is air conditioned which I took advantage of to take a break from the heat several times during our 8 hour full day bottom fishing trip.

Had a very enjoyable day out with Captain John and his young and beautiful assistant, and granddaughter, Amanda.ย I must say, he truly delivered on what he said he was going to fish for; we caught over 100 of these little spot and croaker fishes. Tried twice before elsewhere for the bigger fish like stryper, but got skunked on one trip and brought in only four less than 18โ on the second.ย We also had a first timer, ever, with us and Captain John had her slaying fish in no time; great morale booster!ย For two others, it was only their second time fishing so everyone felt terrific about catching fish. After catching so many fish so quickly, many of us went in to the cabin for a short nap which provided some good comedy (ha!).ย Which reminds me, want to mention it is a great boat with plenty of room and a place to escape the sun inside the cabin.ย All in all, a great day fishing and I would highly recommend Captain John for anyone wishing to charter a boat for fishing the Chesapeake; I understand he does offshore as well.

Thank you Matt. Yesterdayโs trip was fantastic! We went thru double the bait of a normal trip (glad the extra was on the boat!) but the fish were being greedy! Thanks for the kind words on helping Victoria but I think it was more your coaching that really got her on the fish. The rest of the group got Amanda and I busy taking off fish and rebaiting hooks! Iโm glad you guys enjoyed yourselves and that we were successful in hitting the fish. Iโm sorry you had trips with no catch in the past but they do call it fishing and those days will happen. We talked yesterday about my very first trip as a captain I got skunked! Believe me, we or at least I take it personal. I want my customers to catch and have a good time.
