Tom is friendly helpful knowledgeable and a good storyteller. Beautiful 39 ft boat Did extremely well in fairly rough waters. Caught our limit. Highly recommend. Great day on Lake Ontario!

Very nice equipt boat.
Captain went above and, beyond to get us on the morning trip..Saturdays weather was awful.
He. Even got a bottle of Champain for our 30th Wedding Anniversary.. (Didn’t drink it ) too much fishing do.
We’ll give him 5 stars again…. Also his 1st Mate on the boat was great and, quick on the poles when they popped.

First time chartering a boat for salmon after years of attempting myself. Capt. Tom and first mate Will put on the bite within 15 minutes of setting the line spreads. Was great to just sit and get pole in hand with fish on!!  Didn’t have time to even finish coffee before fish hit. Than non stop action. Plenty of knock downs and missed a large king but ended up with a full cooler. Cleaned and packed on ice!! Excellent experience all around. Planning for next summer trip with this team!!!!

A couple of days prior to our trip, I recieved a phone call from Capt. Tom.  He expressed his concern with the wind that was expected for our trip on Sunday morning.  After discussing the conditions he could tell I was disappointed that we may have to cancel.  We decided to meet at 7:00 and make a last minute call depending on the wind at that time.  Well we were lucky enough to get out and fish.  It was windy as expected, but not so bad that we couldn’t stay out and fish.  Tom did his best to get us on the fish, we caught 4, keeping 3 of them, one king and 2 steelhead, all nice fish.  Capt. Tom entertained us all the time and taking the the time to explain to us how his boat was set up with his equipment ad why he chose what he has on board for his use.  We surley appreciated the chance to get our trip in under not ideal conditions, but we always felt safe and had a great time while sharing the trip with good friends and family.  Capt. Tom wished we had better conditions and that we had caught more fish.  He obviusly wants to see fisherman get their fish.  I would certainly recommend Reel Adventure fishing to anyone wanting a great experience.  I am sure we will back next summer, probably fishing earlier in the season.  Had a GREAT TIME!  Thanks Capt. My most recent experience (I’ve had about 10) was fishing a 2 day tournament on Tom’s boat, Summer School. The first day Tom took us to the fish right away.  All lines were in the water in 8 minutes!  We had many double hookups and one triple.  We caught our limit and I was even the one to reel in the largest fish caught on the boat that day (17.75lb King Salmon). 

The second day we tried the same spot and did well but went in search of bigger fish.  Tom knew exactly where to go and we certainly found them.  Our boat ended up winning BIG FISH of the tournament with a 21lb KING!  There was quite a tense few minutes as this fish gave us a run for our money going after two of our other lines while being reeled in, but Tom and the team kept cool heads and won the battle.  We limited out this day as well and Tom cleaned the fish for us both days. 

Tom runs a tight ship- extremely clean (I don’t know how he does it), friendly helpers and even snacks and drinks.  He’s also very patient and excellent at teaching new folks how to fish this way.  For myself and most people, it’s an extremely unique experience you’d not have in any other type of fishing.  Every year there’s upgraded equipment (new rods this year for starters!) and there isn’t a single thing that’s run down or needs replaced.  I feel very safe on his boat and all electronics are the latest.

If someone is looking for a day on the water catching some of Ontario’s best, Tom is the guy to go with.  I’ve been on larger “head boats” but it’s not the same.  Looking forward to my next time out with Tom and his crew.  There’s nothing like it.
