Spent yesterday morning with my niece (14) and nephews (14,17) fishing with Captain Jordan.  We all had a great time enjoying the ride, the weather and the views from Puget Sound.  Its tough to beat being on the water with the Olympics on one side and the Cascades on the other.  There were a few seal and porpoise sightings too.  The chill island music was a great touch.  Captain Jordan was prompt, knowledgeable about his craft, professional and personable which made the experience that much more memorable.  He provided great instruction for the kids.  I would definitely book another fishing excursion with him again.  Oh we also took home a couple 15+ pound kings.

Our family of 4 had a great time. Our guide did everything he could to make sure our son caught some fish. He was very knowledgeable and kind. Even though we don’t all fish, we all enjoyed our time on the boat.  Highlight of our Seattle trip so far :)  Thanks so much, if we’re back in town would do again 10/10!

Mid-June is a little before the main run for coho salmon returning from the sea in the Puget Sound. And it’s before king salmon season opens in Washington. So we were focused on resident coho (silver) salmon. The fishing was good, we had regular action trolling and caught one coho each plus several small kings we released. An enjoyable day on the water with a friendly and competent captain.

The weather was wonderful. Our Captain was fantastic. We caught fish. On top of that, we saw a big male orca from a distance. And then all of a sudden here came a female right alongside our boat. Life is good. Big shout out to Murphy
