I went offshore with my daughter and son for my 66th birthday, with Capt. Mike and Dillon. We had an awesome experience catching yellowtail snapper and quite a few Mahi Mahi. Unfortunately we lost 2 tuna to a couple of sharks, that would have been icing on the cake. Capt. Mike and Dillon were an absolute blast to spend the day with, and they worked very hard to make sure we enjoyed our day on the water. They took the time to explain the local fisheries. My son and I went offshore and reef/wreck fishing in September. We were the only or one of the few boats that caught mahi due to the water temp and time of the year. Captain Mike was honest and we had to reschedule due to weather twice. I’m thankful Cpt Mike was honest as well as his willingness to look further out than others, which is why we caught fish. I would wholeheartedly recommend a private charter with Mike. Honestly it was a tough winter day in the keys yet we went out anyway. He did everything right. His awesome boat is as fast and hard working as he is. Chasing frigate birds and flying fish or “flyers” was a new and welcomed experience for me.

We started our trip in weather that was no ideal, and water temps below normal. It did not matter though, our captain was able to find us plenty of fish to catch and taught us a lot of new things about fishing the Keys. Great trip, will be booking again next vacation down to the Keys.

Fishing has been very tough by all accounts but Capt Mike ran all over looking for the right signs and sue enough he put us on yellowtail snapper and mahi ( even a wahoo chance) when around us others were struggling.
We ended the day with a full hall and left them biting.  Boat was smooth and stable in the cup and made the rude home a breeze .
Highly recommend and will fish with them again
