Great day fishing last week with Captain Nelson and his first mate Joel. We booked for 4hrs but ended up doing 6hrs (recommended). We caught 2 barracuda and a king fish which Nelson kindly cooked for us in his special marinade. Absolutely gorgeous. The boat is comfortable, drinks and snacks aplenty.  Would certainly go again if I ever find myself back in the Rep Dom. Just remember though catching is never guaranteed but with Nelson he rarely fails.

We had a great time with Nelson bottom fishing. We caught over a dozen fish between the two of us before cutting our trip short due to sea sickness. Nelson felt horrible even though there was nothing he could control about the situation(it was extremely windy that day). He brought us back to the dock and fried up our catch for us and it was delicious! Nelson and his mate were very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend

Booked a 6 hour trip before I travelled, based on advice and reviews I had read, so glad I did! Nelson got me the fish of a lifetime, a blue marlin. We also nailed a big MahiMahi but sadly it spat the hook at the side of the boat. Would recommend this to anyone in the area thinking of taking a fishing trip. Boat was immaculate and well kept, plenty of snacks and cold drinks, beer and soda. Top day, and a top crew, thank you again guys!

This trip was great.  He picked us up on time took us to the marina and quickly processed the paperwork. The boat and crew we top notch. He had purchased exactly what my husband asked for fruit and soda. We caught fish and had a great time. The seas were rough but the crew did great.  My husband had sea sickness no fault of crew and they cared for him while catching fish.  We enjoyed it so much we booked a second day. I would recommend this tour and captain

Was a fantastic day spent with High Z’s, both the captain and mate were fun, happy and enthusiastic.  The optimism was fantastic. We were only able to spend a 1/2 day with them but they were amazing.  Jeffery the mate cleaned our mahi mahi and Captain Neilson cooked it right on the beautiful boat.  This was not my 1st chartered fishing trip but absolutely one of the best!!  Highly recommend High Z’s.
