I’m so grateful I booked with Captain Dewitt. The Captain reached out to explore options as soon as I secured the trip also touched base the day before, ensuring I knew the weather report and confirming the plan for the day.  This morning started with the sun cresting the plain of the gulf, exploding light on the bay. With good fishing action, Captain Dewitt gave clarity to the expectations and the plan of the day with a willingness to teach and truly guide the fishing. The Captain shared extensive gulf bay knowledge, including a history of the bay, and expanded this fishing trip to an experience worth more than the filets we are cooking at the house.

Enjoyed my fishing trip and Captain had me on fish from our first cast. I caught well over 15 speckle Trout,  and only got two in the slot both about 19”. It was a windy rough day, but he kept me in the fish.  I would do this again when I am back down this way. He has good gear, plenty of fresh live shrimp, lots of room in the boat, and some really good life stories.  Thank you Captain Dewitt.

Capt Thomas is very knowledgable and a real joy to talk with fishing with is like fishing with an old friend we caught fish but no real size but not for lack of trying I would go back out anytime and recommend any one who enjoys fishing go with Capt Thomas
