We were greeting warmly and couldn’t wait to get on board!  Very friendly first mate and captain!  We saw sea turtle right at the dock that David the first mate pointed out to us!  First time seeing a sea turtle!  We heading out early and there were beautiful dolphins all around the boat and playing in our wake!  Amazing!  We found a spot showing us potential and had nibbles right away!  We caught red snappers, Spanish Mackerel, and the lizard fish seemed to like my line the best!  First Mate David was so helpful, knowledgeable, and fun!  He was constantly busy and informative with tips of how to attract some fish!  Captain Scott Ellis was a blast to be at sea under and showed us some tricks to the trade!  This team worked really hard to bring us success - us land lovers who do not have any sea legs!  We had a blast!  We.learned a lot!  And we look forward to another visit this way and charter this team again!!  We highly recommend Rainbow Charters out of Ponce Inlet!  Great Boat, Great Captain, Great Firat Mate, excellent equipment and an immaculate boat!

Went out on an early season 8 hour fishing charter with 4 friends aboard the Rainbow.  The Rainbow is a angling machine, everything set up for off shore fishing.  Capt. Scott is very helpful and knowledgeable.  He moved to different drops looking for hungry fish to keep us busy.  We caught some nice fish including several red snapper (released), lane snapper, vermilion snapper, red grouper (released), gag grouper (released) and 2 Atlantic sharpnose sharks. 

The mate, David is one of the best I’ve seen in a while.  He was polite, knowledgeable and anticipated our every need.  In short he was excellent. 

The weather and sea conditions were very good which made for an exceptional early season day of fishing.  We will be back later this year when more species are in season.  I recommend the Rainbow to any group regardless of level of expertise. 

Went out for 8-hours yesterday with my adult son and my 14-year old son and had a GREAT time! Captain Scott continued to put us in the right spots even though others were having a slow day (based on radio chatter). We caught Barracuda, Snapper, Trigger Fish, Sharks, Sharks, and more Sharks, etc. We saw Manta Rays, Spinner Sharks jumping out of the water, Bottle Nosed Dolphin next to our boat constantly, etc. And when it finally started to slow down Captain Scott got behind the shrimp boats that happened to be out that day and we free-lined behind them and caught nice sized sharks constantly, We could have caught them all day if our arms didn’t get tired out and we ran out of time!

And I can’t say enough good thinks about the Deck Hand who’s name is NOAH. What an AMAZING Seck Hand he is. Not only the best Deck Hand I’ve ever seen in action, but also just a great person. My guess is all the Charter Boat Captains in that marina are probably fighting over this guy to be on their boat!!  Not enough space left to say all the good things about him that needs to be said just cross your fingers he’s on the boat when you go!

Man what a great day we had such a wonderful time with captain Scott and David they did a great job we caught some fish and it was just a amazing day we will definitely be going back with them soon

Didn’t catch alot of fish to keep, but Caught alot of big fish that was out of season. Still went home with alot of fish to eat.
