We were looking for a fun fishing experience for two younger children on our family vacation, Captain Lewis was the right one to go with! He knows what he’s doing and put us right on top of some fish! He was very attentive, helpful, and fished along side us, contributing to fun everyday life conversation. He was professional, but made it feel like being out on the water with a friend. He would get a fish on the line and hand it over to one of the kids to reel in, they LOVED IT! Everyone on the trip would totally recommend Waymaker to anyone and we will definitely visit him again when in the area. THANKS AGAIN!

We booked a half day fishing trip for six. Our family group had a combination of periodic fisherman and complete newbies.

The captain and crew were amazing, fun, informative, and made everyone very comfortable on the boat. We were fishing for a combination of Trout and Red Drum.

We caught several nice fish that we kept and 1 monster Red Drum that was released (per NC law).

Every individual on the boat felt very comfortable and learned how to safely and enjoyably fish in the Outer Banks.

We all look forward to doing this adventure again soon with this charter and captain.

Had a wonderful time aboard his boat. Very professional I knew the fishing wasn’t going to be the best due to the thunderstorms that ruled through the day before. We tried four spots We caught fish at every one, but one so he definitely knows the area. All the other captains of other boats had a rough day too as well.  We did not catch a lot, but that was due to the weather and water conditions. I have been on many of fishing charters, and fishing trips. I would call this one a win. I will definitely be looking him up when I come back down to the Outer Banks area. He has my go to from this day moving forward!  Thank you for a wonderful experience. Be looking forward to seeing you next year if we make the trip.
