The dude is a Vermonter through and through! His approach to fishing is thorough, safe, attentive, productive—guy is a real fisherman, product of his upbringing and love of the sport—could be diet livelihood someday along with venison and small fur-bearing critters. He’s for real and the fishing at that time was optimal before weather moved in. I will recommend him to out-of-staters and Vermonters alike. Sterling knows Champlain like few others, since he has fished it since his kid-years. He knows where the fish hang outs and what tactics to employ. Right on time, at our predetermined place to meet.

We weren’t able to go as we received bad weather but sterling was very open with us about it and really made the best out of a bad situation. Great captain and hopefully we’ll head out next time with better weather.

We had a great day and caught so many fish!  Would highly recommend for anyone!
