Had an amazing time with Capt. Billy. We booked a fishing and barbecue full day trip. First drop we had a 20lbs Jackfish on the jig and soon after others followed. Sharks are an issue if you’re not quick to pull out the fish as about 50% of hookups end by the taxman taking your catch. The crew was friendly and helpful and prepared an amazing tasting barbecue on a wild beach while we were exploring around. Would definitely book again next time in Seychelles.

Billy and David were both amazing. We were well looked after throughout the whole day. Plenty of refreshments and more food than we could have ever eaten. They were both very helpful and answered any questions we had. It was wonderful to learn about the different kinds of species we caught and appreciated their patience with us as we tried to remember the names of them all. We caught things like Bonito, Barracuda, Jack Fish and Red Snapper which we have since learned is a well sought after fish in the Seychelles. We took some of our catch with us and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend a trip with Billy.

Billy was extremely accommodating, punctual, polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and above all else knows where to find the fish!

We trolled and jigged, catching bonito, jobfish, wahoo, some bottom fish. Lots of strikes, and varried areas. Mostly trolling near Silhouette Island and jigging near the reefs surrounding the area.

I had jokingly said I’d like a sailfish, having been told it wasn’t the season, and sure enough Captain found us one.  I battled said sailfish and it’s an experience I will share with friends and family. I included a blurry screen cap from the video of me reeling ‘em in as it jumped trying to get away.

First mate David was spectacular as well. Fun and professional, he set up all the rigs while Capt Billy got us to where we were going to drop the lines. Always offering us drinks and snacks or a smile.

My wife and I had a blast and we cannot recommend Capt Billy and David enough!

Rain and rough seas didn’t stop us from having an amazing fishing and BBQ island trip, all thanks to Billy. He made sure we had a great time, found the best spots for fishing, and the BBQ was delicious.

I would recommend Billys Charters to anyone going to Mahe Island in Seychelles.We also had the privilege to taste his cooking on the beach. This was the highlight off out trip.This is a must for any one going fishing.
